NY Giants quarterback: Exploring NFL Draft 2025, free agency, trades | The Record
The Giants have three options when it comes to addressing the quarterback room this year: Be aggressive and take that swing; Trust the process – yours and the draft; or A bridge to somewhere better … or worse?
Jaxson Dart says joining New York Giants would be a ‘smooth transition’ | USAToday.com
Eli and his dad, Archie, are Ole Miss legends and have grown close to Dart, who was a First-Team All-SEC selection last year.
My relationship first started with them when I first got there (Ole Miss),” Dart said. “They were one of the first families to reach out to me and it’s been special how our bond and connection has been able to grow throughout my time there. Doing different events with them and at the same time, them coming to games, shooting ‘Good luck’ texts, and going to the Manning Camp was also an amazing experience. They’ve been a huge asset to me and I look forward to continuing to build a relationship with them.”
What the Giants might, and hope to, see from their next potential QB at the Senior Bowl | New York Post
There are usually six quarterbacks, split between the two teams, invited to the Senior Bowl each winter. Last year, six of them made their way to this port city on Alabama’s Gulf Coast and five of them ended up being selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Safety Xavier McKinney Claims Giants Didn’t Want Him Back | SI.com
During a recent sit-down with Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, the safety acknowledged that he felt unwanted by the Giants throughout his final season in blue.
“I could tell they didn’t really want me there,” McKinney said. “I kind of knew that but for me, it was like I’ve still got to play well and I still have got to do the best I can for this team right now. I was still with the team and I was still all in but I could kind of tell the direction they were going….“They go about their business a certain way and they feel like how they do things is the right way. Ultimately, that’s how they feel. I can’t do anything but respect it and wish them the best of luck. That’s really all I can do.”

Every NFL team’s best and worst signing from the 2024 free agency cycle | PFF
Guard Jon Runyan Jr., who signed a three-year, $30 million deal to join the Giants. was identified as their worst 2024 addition.
Runyan was the Giants’ most expensive free agent signing last offseason. He played just 13 games and earned a 56.1 overall grade, which aligns with the rest of his career numbers. That level of performance doesn’t necessarily warrant paying him $10 million per season, though.
Giants barely functional without healthy Andrew Thomas: 29 thoughts on 29 offensive players | The Athletic
Darius Slayton: It’s no wonder Slayton was such a big supporter of Jones. In nine games with Jones this season, Slayton averaged 3.6 catches and 52.1 yards. That rate would have produced 60 catches for 886 yards over 17 games. Those would have been career-highs and would have set up Slayton nicely for free agency. Slayton totaled just seven catches for 104 yards in the seven games after Jones’ benching.
