Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.
It wasn’t shocking when it was announced that the Miami Dolphins had fired their special teams coach, Danny Crossman, after the season came to an end. The unit was among the worst in the league since Crossman took over in 2019. While kicker Jason Sanders had a really solid year, the unit has been underwhelming and a change was needed. It was announced that the team has hired Craig Aukerman, who was out of the league last season. He was most recently with the Tennessee Titans in 2023 before he was fired near the end of the season. The Titans had an average special teams unit under Aukerman, but Dolphin fans may take anyone over Crossman right now.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
