Anthony Richardson 60-yard TD pass to Alec Pierce — Week 1 vs Texans
In the first quarter of the season opener grudge match against the Texans, quarterback Anthony Richardson launched an immaculate 60-yard missile to receiver Alec Pierce to score the first touchdown of the Colts campaign. Pierce never broke stride as Richardson showcased his repaired rocket of an arm in front of 65,306 astounded fans inside Lucas Oil Stadium. With a throw of 65.3 air yards, Richardson’s highlight reel heave was the longest non-Hail Mary completion in the Next Gen Stats era.

Michael Pittman Jr. go-ahead TD catch — Week 6 @ Titans
For the second consecutive season, Michael Pittman Jr. lifted the Colts to a road victory over the Titans by hauling in the game-winning TD. Despite reports that Pittman was headed to injured reserve while dealing with a nagging back injury — which was later revealed to be a low-back fracture — Indianapolis’ fifth-year receiver battled through the pain. Midway through the fourth quarter, the Titans sent the house to blitz on third down. Colts quarterback Joe Flacco threw a floater into the end zone, then Pittman snagged the jump ball over Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed for the go-ahead score.

Anthony Richardson first career game-winning TD — Week 11 @ Jets
After being renamed the starting QB following a two-game benching, Richardson returned to action and capped off a clutch performance with his first career game-winning drive. Once head coach Shane Steichen called an “automatic QB run” with the game on the line, Richardson was determined to force his entry into the end zone. In the final minute of the fourth quarter, Richardson trucked Jets cornerback D.J. Reed at the goal line to give the Colts a 28-27 road win.

Anthony Richardson completes comeback with game-winning two-point conversion — Week 13 @ Patriots
As the Colts trailed the Patriots 24-17 with 5:34 remaining in the final frame, Richardson was tasked to command another rally in a must-win scenario. Indy’s 22-year-old signal caller delivered a 19-play, 80-yard scoring drive that featured three separate fourth down conversions and a successful two-point conversion. Faced with fourth-and-goal, Richardson connected with Pierce on a crosser from three-yards out to bring the Colts within an extra point from tying the game. With 12 seconds left, Steichen left his offense on the field to win it in regulation. Richardson ran the read option and kept it himself to bulldoze his way into the end zone, complete the comeback and escape New England with a 25-24 win.

Jonathan Taylor breaks free for 65-yard TD — Week 16 vs Titans
Indianapolis set a franchise rushing record in the Week 16 win over the Titans behind Jonathan Taylor’s season-best performance with 218 rushing yards and three rushing TDs. Taylor’s astonishing outing featured a pair of scores from 65-yards and 70-yards out. Despite the latter becoming the longest run of his resurgent campaign, Taylor essentially sped past the entire Titans defense. It was the first burst that was more impressive since Taylor cut left inside the trenches, then made Titans safety Amani Hooker propose on one knee, before breaking free for a 65-yard house call to give the Colts the lead midway through the second quarter.
