There are two fantastic games on the slate for Sunday. Let’s take a look at each.
Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5) – 2:00 PM CST FOX
Tom Brady and Kevin Harlan will be in the booth for a game I am excited about. Jayden Daniels will see if he can continue his outstanding run of play against a stout Eagles defense. The defense has been strong most of the year, with an exception being the road game against the Commanders. Daniels threw for 5 TDs in that meeting, winning 36 – 33 in a shoot out. The Commanders haven’t lost since Thanksgiving and Daniels has been one of the best QBs in the league during that stretch. The Eagles offense has seemed a bit off for a team with a 2,000 yard rusher and two very good WRs. They’re the more experienced team and should be the overwhelming favorite this weekend. The Eagles have the #1 defense in yards allowed and #2 in points. However, I think there’s just enough off with the offense to open the door for the best rookie QB this league has ever seen.
Commies 36 – Eagles 30
Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs (-1) – 5:30 PM CST CBS
This is the game I am looking forward to less than the first game. I am exhausted of the Chiefs. I have no faith this will be any different than prior seasons. Josh Allen has received a lot of attention for MVP. I don’t think he deserves it, but that is another conversation. It just seems like it’s a tale as old as time in the AFC. The Chiefs will look like crap the entire game, but keep it close. There will be a play or two that needs to be made (or a call or two) and the Chiefs will figure out a way. The Chiefs were 11-0 in one score games this year and come with the #4 ranked defense in points allowed. Chiefs have the better defense, the better coach, better QB and better officiating.
Chefs 23 – Bills 20
