Something to keep an eye on.
The Cincinnati Bengals have already had an eventful offseason, including hiring a new defensive coordinator in Al Golden.
Now, they might be looking to fill a front office role as well.
According to a report by Brian Costello of the New York Post, Trey Brown is scheduled to have a second interview with the New York Jets for their open general manager position.
Not only did that news come through, but Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post also backed up the report with plenty of positive updates and intel he has received from other front office executives.
Here’s what I wrote about #Bengals Trey Brown on Dec. 12. Came highly recommended to me by an NFL executive I trust. https://t.co/6EPLcnSnfb #Jetup #Jets
One person familiar with Brown called him “smart and a good worker,” with a fruitful network from which to build a staff.… https://t.co/9XleZxIIB3

Brown has been with the Bengals since the 2021 season. Starting off as a scout, he moved into a senior personnel executive role in 2022, where he’s been ever since.
It’s pretty easy to see why the Jets would be interested in potentially adding Brown, as he has been a key piece in helping build this Bengals roster.
Now, we wait and see if he will be heading to New York.
