Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 1/18/25

The Los Angeles Rams are underdogs against the Philadelphia Eagles this coming Sunday, so we know there are plenty of reasons that L.A. should lose on Sunday, but what are some reasons that the Rams can win?

Could it be that the Rams navigate the pending cold better than the Eagles? Could Kyren Williams have a more productive day than Saquan Barkley? Will Cooper Kupp regain his Super Bowl MVP form to carry the team? Will Chris Shula’s defense continue to ascend?

What do you think? How can the Rams win on Sunday? It could be as simple as “the Rams play better in the 60-minutes window”.

Please comment on whatever you want, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great Saturday! Sunday and the game will be here before we know it.

5 reasons the Rams could upset the Eagles on Sunday (theramswire)

“The Los Angeles Rams are mostly being counted out in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s understandable given the Eagles’ 14-win season and dominant defense, but the Rams are not going to be an easy team for anyone to beat this postseason if they keep playing the way they have been.

And while many will point to their 37-20 loss to the Eagles in Week 12 as a reason they can’t win this weekend, there were plays to be made the Rams in that game that could have changed the outcome.

Looking ahead to Sunday’s rematch, there are several reasons Los Angeles could pull off the upset on the road in Philly. Here are the five biggest reasons that might just happen.”

LA Rams thank Arizona Cardinals, community for hosting playoff game (azfamily)

“The Los Angeles Rams took a full-page ad in the Arizona Republic to thank the Cardinals after last week’s playoff game held at State Farm Stadium.”

Chargers, Rams among Los Angeles-area teams taking part in major donation for wildfire relief (nfl.com)

“Twelve Los Angeles-area sports teams, including the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, banded together for a giveaway at nearby Hollywood Park, assisting wildfire victims with apparel, shoes, grocery gift cards, food, pet supplies, and other essential aid. The event was in accordance with the Fanatics Foundation, which distributed $3 million worth of Fanatics merchandise to those forced to evacuated from their homes.

Rams legend Aaron Donald was at the Hollywood Park event to show his support.

“Thank you to everybody that’s been a resource from Southern California to the outskirts,” Donald said, alongside his wife, Erica Donald. “Everybody’s doing their part, trying to make a difference and trying to help. We want to just thank everyone; it means the world. We are going to continue to do our part, to be a resource, to continue to help the community in times of need, just like this, and we’ll continue to stay together.”

Random Ramsdom Fandom: Realistic 2025 Offseason (By Jonmon on Jan 16, 2025)

“Hopefully they can get an extra late round pick for D Will but if not he still saves the team $8M by cutting him post 6/1. Jonah Jackson may fetch a 3rd or 4th but for the sake of this exercise we will say they brought back 2026 picks. Together they clear $17M off the books.

They’d have about $75M in available cap space. I understand I have $80M worth of FA signings but money can be moved around with 3 year contracts. My numbers are just an average per year. Staffords contract will be off the books by then. The 2 top CB’s on the market come to LA to win a Suberbowl. They bring a couple friends in DT BJ Hill and LB Dre Greenlaw. Both solid pieces. I’d give A Jackson a 3 year contract averaging $20M per year. Still have Havenstein another year on the other side.

And onto the draft… They miss out on 2 big weapons in TE’s Colston Loveland and Tyler Warren so they make the next best move. Turn that pick into 2 weapons. They trade down into the top of the 2nd round for an additional high 3rd round pick. Enter TE Harold Fannin Jr and WR Savion Williams. 2 big, fast weapons. Fannin is one of my favorite prospects this draft. Up next we get Cam Skattebo with the Rams original 3rd round pick. I’m starting to really like this kid. He’s like a little bowling ball and he doesn’t fumble. I’d prefer not to pay and extend Kyren Williams in 2026. Problem solved. In the 3rd and 4th they get 2 OT’s in Anthony Belton and Ernest Greene. Both huge guys that can sit a year to be more NFL ready. Hopefully the days of Noteboom as a backup are over. Who really knows who will still be there in the 6th round but I chose depth for the defensive front 7.

Let me know how you thought I did. Good or bad, I have tough skin hahaha”
