The Colts are scheduled to make history by hosting an NFL game in Berlin during the 2025 regular season.
The Indianapolis Colts announced on Wednesday that the franchise will host the league’s first ever regular season game in Berlin, Germany, during the 2025 campaign:

The game will be hosted at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium as part of the NFL’s International Series, and it is the third time the Colts have played in Europe during the franchise’s history.
Specifically, the Colts played the New England Patriots in Frankfurt, Germany, at Frankfurt Stadium during the 2023 campaign, and earlier, the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London during the 2016 season. The Colts were the away team for both games.
The date, time, and opponent has not yet been publicly announced.
“The NFL is making history in Berlin, and the Colts are proud to be part of this landmark event in one of the world’s most historic cities,” said Jim Irsay, Colts team owner, regarding this unprecedented international game.
“The NFL has become a global brand, and we’re looking forward to growing American football in Germany and expanding Colts Nation’s footprint around the world. This game also provides a unique opportunity for our local Indiana partners to engage with German businesses, customers and fans this season and in the future.”
Berlin is also the birthplace of former Indianapolis’ 2013 first round pick Björn Werner, who’s served as a ‘Colts ambassador’ in the past for their international games—and likely will again for this upcoming game given his familiarity and ties to both places.
