These are the real deal.
You probably remember back in December when it was reported that Joe Burrow got his offensive linemen a very original gift for Christmas, Katana swords that date back to 17th century Japan.
Paul Dehner Jr. gave us more detail, writing, “They are all unique. Each sword comes with its own story, from certain towns or battles.”
The star QB would later explain how he arrived at the idea.

“They wanted guns and I was like I don’t know about guns guys. So I was in the weapon mindset and I thought what’s cool and samurai swords I think are pretty dang cool.” pic.twitter.com/hf9VMsYzox

Well now we finally get to see the awesome gift.
WLWT reporter Lindsay Stone met with Bengals center Ted Karras and got to see his sword up close.

Needless to say, they look just as close as one would imagine.
Burrow and the offense had a tremendous year, coming up just short of the playoffs.
