Thursday news and updates.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Divisional Round playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Eagles listed one player under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Dallas Goedert.

Goedert missed practice due to “illness.” Can’t imagine he’ll miss a playoff game due to being sick but, speaking from personal experience, there has been some bad stuff going around.

The Eagles listed one player under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: A.J. Brown.

As expected, Brown returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Guessing he’ll be upgraded to full on Friday. He’ll play on Sunday.

The Eagles listed two players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Saquon Barkley, Jordan Mailata, Cam Jurgens, Josh Sweat, Kenny Pickett and Byron Young.

Barkley, Mailata, Jurgens, and Sweat all practiced in full after resting on Wednesday.

Pickett fully participated for the second day in a row. He’ll continue to be Jalen Hurts’ backup with Tanner McKee serving as the emergency third quarterback.

The Eagles opened Young’s 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve last week. The team doesn’t seem to be in a rush to activate him and that makes sense since he was a healthy scratch prior to going on IR. But they’re keeping the option of activating him open for now. Could be just in case they suffer a defensive tackle injury and/or getting the second-year player some practice reps.
