Bills’ Josh Allen reflects on loss to Ravens earlier this season
The Buffalo Bills have a tough task against the Baltimore Ravens awaiting them in the Divisional round.
The mental aspect of the matchup could weigh heavy considering these two teams met already in 2024… and the Bills did not win.
The Ravens took a 35-10 final over Buffalo in a Week 4 matchup out in Baltimore. Despite the Bills winning 13 games during the regular season, that one did not go according to plan.
Even with that loss, quarterback Josh Allen is not overreacting to that reality.
“I thought we’ve grown quite a bit since that game,” Allen said. “It wasn’t our best effort.”
What sunk the Bills in that outing was the rushing attack led by running back Derrick Henry and assisted by quarterback Lamar Jackson. Henry rushed for 199 yards against Buffalo.
Even with the threat of Henry again, it’s all about Jackson. He’s the favorite for the 2024 NFL MVP Award alongside Allen for a reason.
“There’s only one Lamar Jackson,” McDermott said via video conference. “You do the best you can to try and simulate it… Good luck.”
