2025 NFL mock draft: Ravens address the trenches in Round 1
The Ravens are heading to Buffalo for a storyline filled AFC divisional round matchup against the second seeded Bills and quarterback Josh Allen. Even with the pregame buildup, it’s never too early for a look ahead to the 2025 NFL draft.
Baltimore has several pressing needs, and rebuilding the trenches sits at the top of the list.

USA Today has Baltimore adding a pass rusher.
It’s simplistic to think the Ravens can upgrade their occasionally flagging pass rusher by bringing aboard the Football Subdivision Leader in sacks (17). But the 6-4, 248-pounder is both explosive and lithe enough to snake past blockers at the next level, and he could shore up one of this unit’s few apparent shortcomings.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has Baltimore adding a pass rusher.
Baltimore lucks into one of the most productive edge rushers in the SEC at the bottom of the first round. Pearce Jr. led the conference with 10 sacks last season and had another 7.5 in 2024. His 6-foot-5, 242-lb. frame could fill out, but for now, he has impressive length and athleticism for his size. He needs to improve in run defense, but given the depth at the position in Baltimore, Pearce Jr. could rotate in as a rookie before expanding his role in future years.
CBS Sports: Shemar Stewart, IDL, Texas A&M

CBS Sports has Baltimore adding a physical specimen at defensive tackle.
Shemar Stewart had a breakout campaign for the Aggies with his rare physical skillset being on full display. The nearly 290-pounder gets off the line of scrimmage like an undersized edge making him a handful for opposing tackles. His inside-outside versatility is perfect for the Ravens defensive line.
PFF–27. BALTIMORE RAVENS: T JOSH CONERLY JR., OREGON
Oregon offensive linemen Nishad Strother, center, and Josh Conerly Jr., right, engage Maryland defensive lineman Jordan Phillips as the Oregon Ducks host the Maryland Terrapins at Autzen Stadium Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 in Eugene, Ore.
PFF has Baltimore adding an All-Big 10 offensive tackle.
Oregon’s Conerly took a big step up in pass protection this year. He allowed just 10 pressures on 521 pass-blocking snaps while earning a 78.0 PFF pass-blocking grade on true pass sets. He is a true junior with two years of starting experience under his belt. The NFL will love the potential.

Dane Brugler of The Athletic has Baltimore adding a versatile offensive lineman.
Jackson has been the unsung MVP of Ohio State’s run to the national championship game. After starting at left guard as a sophomore, junior and for the first five games of 2024, Jackson kicked out to left tackle — a position he hadn’t played since high school — and helped save the Buckeyes’ season after they’d suffered a key injury up front. Jackson struggled in his first start at his new position against Carter, but he’s gone the last seven games without allowing a sack.
