It’s pretty dim in Arizona
It’s time, once again, for everyone to get their fours up, because we’re heading to the last quarter of play in this Wild Card playoff tilt with the Minnesota Vikings trailing the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 27-9.
The Vikings got the ball to start the half and managed to get to midfield before punting the ball away. The Rams then took the ball and got themselves into position for more points, coming in the form of a 44-yard field goal from Joshua Karty to make it 27-3 halfway through the third quarter.
Then, the Vikings got into the end zone for the first time in 21 drives, as Sam Darnold found T.J. Hockenson for a 26-yard catch-and-run to finally get Minnesota a touchdown. It was Hockenson’s first touchdown since returning from his injury and the first one for the Vikings since the Green Bay game in Week 17. The Vikings went for two and failed, leaving the score at 27-9 with five minutes left in the third quarter.

The Vikings then forced another punt, but Ethan Evans did an outstanding job with the boot, putting the Vikings down at their own 4-yard line. As we head to the fourth quarter of play, the Vikings are looking at a 2nd-and-10 from their own 15-yard line.
It appears we’ve got fifteen minutes left in the 2024 season for the Minnesota Vikings, as they trail the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 27-9 and are going to need a miracle to move on. Come join us for the rest of it, won’t you?
