Both teams pretty healthy for the wildcard matchup
The Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams have issued their final injury reports ahead of their Monday night playoff game. Here they are:
Minnesota Vikings
- OLB Pat Jones II, Knee, OUT
- RB Cam Akers, Illness, QUESTIONABLE
- DT Taki Taimani, Ankle, QUESTIONABLE
Jones has been ruled out again for Monday night but Kevin O’Connell indicated he may be available next week if the Vikings advance.
O’Connell also said he expects Akers to play on Monday, but gave him a questionable designation with an illness that kept him out of practice on Saturday.
Lastly, Taimani could be activated from IR anytime to add depth to the interior defensive line. I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened ahead of the Rams game, but we’ll see.
Los Angeles Rams
- No injury designations
The Rams had just two players on their injury list this week, Hunter Long and Rob Havenstein. Both were expected to play on Monday night and they will.
That’s it for the injury reports ahead of the wildcard game on Monday night.
