The Tennessee Titans have interest in Miami Dolphins assistant General Manager, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.

The 2024 NFL season didn’t go as expected for the Miami Dolphins, who ended the year 8-9 and were out of playoff contention for the first time in five years. Still, that hasn’t stopped teams from calling to request interviews with some of Miami’s top coaches and executives.

Anthony Weaver conducted a head coaching interview with the Chicago Bears earlier in the week. He also had one with the New Orleans Saints. Quarterbacks Coach Darrell Bevell has also been busy since the season ended. He was in Cleveland Thursday to visit with the Browns for the vacant offensive coordinator position.

And now, according to a report by The Athletic’s Senior NFL Insider, Dianna Russini, Dolphins front office executive Reggie McKenzie could be on the move.

McKenzie, 61, joined the Dolphins back in 2019. Here, he spent the last six seasons as Miami’s Senior Personnel Executive alongside general manager Chris Grier and assistant Marvin Allen. Before his time in Miami, McKenzie spent seven years with the Oakland Raiders as their general manager (2012-2018). Prior to his time with the Raiders, McKenzie spent 18 NFL seasons (1994-2011) with the Green Bay Packers as part of their personnel department.

The Titans promised to do an extensive search for their next general manager after the team fired General Manager Ran Cartahon earlier in the week. So far, the Titans have interviewed Reggie McKenzie, Thomas Dimitroff, and John Spytek. They plan to meet with Ed Dodds, Matt Berry, Terrance Gray, Cat Hickman, Mike Brogonzi, and Ian Cunnighmam over the coming days, according to USA Today Senior NFL Report, Albert Breer.

Additionally, if McKenzie were to land the job with the Tennessee Titans, the Dolphins would receive two compensatory third-round picks for his promotion from Senior Personnel Executive to General Manager. So if you weren’t rooting for McKenzie to get the Titans job before — or maybe you felt indifferent — don’t. This is a big-time promotion for a guy who has given his entire life to football — and, in turn — could help the Dolphins in the process—a win-win situation.
