League moves game to State Farm stadium in Glendale, AZ
The NFL has officially moved the Minnesota Vikings vs. Los Angeles Rams wildcard playoff game to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona as a result of the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. State Farm Stadium is home to the Arizona Cardinals.
The @NFL has announced that due to the ongoing wildfires in southern California, Monday night’s Wild Card game against the Los Angeles Rams will be played in Arizona.

Date and time of the game remain unchanged.
Moving the game to Arizona will doubtlessly impact any home field advantage for the Rams, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the majority of those attending were fans of the Vikings. Arizona is home to a lot of Minnesota snow birds and former residents, and the Vikings’ fan base is known to travel well.
But given the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, which remain uncontained, the league had to make a decision on the venue to allow enough time for fans to make plans to attend. And given the wildfires seem likely to continue for at least the next couple days, it made sense for the league to make the decision to change venues in the interest of public and player safety.
