What we learned from the Bills’ Week 18 loss vs. Patriots
Given that the game didn’t matter for Buffalo, we were able to see what some of the younger players on the roster could do with extended action.
The defense in particular had younger guys stepping up. Rookie edge rusher Javon Solomon generated seven pressures, five more than the second most. He tied fellow rookie, linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio, for the lead in solo tackles for the Bills (4).
Undrafted rookie and hometown hero Joe Andreessen continues to flash when he’s given the chance. He led the team with 10 total tackles.
Guys like Kaiir Elam, Alec Anderson, Ray Davis, and Keon Coleman also looked good when expanding their roles in Week 18.
