And they should be
It’s time for us to take a look at the final SB Nation Reacts survey of the 2024 regular season about our Minnesota Vikings! It was a short survey, so it won’t take long to go over everything. Let’s get to it.
The only question we asked this week was our usual question about whether or not Vikings fans were confident about the direction of the team. As you’d probably expect, the number is still sky-high.

Of those who responded to our survey for this week, a full 96% of them are confident that the team is heading in the right direction. I know I say this almost every week, but I’m not sure what the Vikings could say or do to convince that other 4% that things are going the right way. Nine wins in a row, the first sweep of Green Bay since 2017, a quarterback that should be a part of the MVP conversation but isn’t. Things are going pretty well, all things considered.
Of course, that doesn’t mean the Vikings are favored going into what’s being called the biggest NFL regular season game ever when they head to Detroit on Sunday night. In fact, they’re a slight underdog as they go into this one. Unfortunately, the majority of folks who are putting their money down on this one are in agreement with the line, according to our friends from FanDuel.

A majority of those who are betting on this one. . .60%, to be precise. . .expect Detroit to cover the 2.5-point spread in this one. This is the first time the Vikings have been an underdog in a while, and hopefully the gambling types are wrong about this week’s result.
As always, thank you to everyone who participated in this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey. We’ll be keeping these up through the postseason, so keep your eyes open for next week’s questions.
