Joe Burrow being MVP should be discussed just as much as anybody else.
It doesn’t take a genius to notice what kind of year Joe Burrow is having this season. He is breaking franchise records and NFL records seemingly every week.
Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase lead the league in several categories in each of their respective positions.
Cincinnati fans are not the only group of people noticing it either. Everybody from current to former players, as well as current media personalities.
Hall of Famer Troy Aikman, who will be alongside his longtime broadcast partner, Joe Buck, will be in Pittsburgh this weekend for the season finale AFC North matchup between the Bengals and Steelers. Aikman knows a little bit about talent. He is a three-time Super Bowl Champ, Super Bowl MVP, and six-time Pro Bowler.
Last week, he made it very clear who the MVP pick was.

There’s no question people think Joe Burrow deserves to be in that MVP conversation and win it.
That is, except Joe Burrow.

Burrow is very realistic about what it takes to win the award, especially nowadays, and the Bengals have not put him there. Talent-wise, he should be in the conversation, but team performance-wise might not win him the award.
Unless of course the Bengals can sneak into the playoffs…
