- With their 27-24 win in Week 16 at Seattle, the Vikings moved to 8-1 in one-possession games in 2024, the second-best mark league wide this season (Kansas City, 11-0). O’Connell, who is 25-9 in one-possession games as a head coach, boasts the second-best winning percentage (.735) in NFL history in one-score contests (minimum 25 games). Only Hall of Fame Head Coach Guy Chamberlin, who coached from 1922-27, owns a better record (.759, 22-7-7).

How I See it Playing Out
The Packers are playing well. Much like last year, Jordan Love is finishing the year strong. They are coming off a blowout 34-0 win on Monday Night Football. The Packer offense has put up 30+ points in 5 straight games. It’s going to be a big game for Brian Flores’ defense. In the first meeting they shut down the Packers until the 4th quarter. This isn’t going to be easy. The Vikings have everything to play for and the Packers will likely be out of the NFCN race even if they do win. I think the offense is going to have to put up some points. If this was in Green Bay, I’d be worried more. Vikings offense is too much and Jordan Love is forced into a mistake late.
