The Bengals need to win this to keep any hope of their season alive.

This may as well be a playoff game for the Cincinnati Bengals who are hosting the Denver Broncos. If Cincinnati loses their hopes for the postseason are over.

Quarterback Joe Burrow has not let this team go away quietly this year. After this team lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers following their bye week to drop to 4-8, their playoff hopes were all but dashed, and it seemed like, inevitably, they’d be eliminated soon.

The only hope Cincinnati had left was to win out and hope for some help along the way. They have done just that, winning their last three games. Now, a Broncos team that needs to lose out is coming to Cincinnati.

This Denver squad is led by one of the best defenses in the NFL. They have only allowed opponents to score over 20 points five times.

The thing is, they are 1-4 in those games, as this team leans heavily on that defense. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been good enough so far, but he hasn’t inspired confidence he is capable of dueling with the elite of the NFL.

He will get a chance to do that again this Saturday against Burrow.
