Wide receiver is only one game better off after trade
The Las Vegas Raiders managed to win in Week 16 and improve their record to 3-12. While that’s nothing to be proud of, the Raiders are only one game worse than Davante Adams and the New York Jets as we check in on a few old friends. Unfortunately, Derek Carr won’t be included for the second week in a row as he was ruled out by the New Orleans Saints.
Davante Adams
- Stats: 7 catches, 68 yards, 1 TD
- Game result: 19-9, Jets lose
New York came out to a strong start and looked like it might pull off the upset over Los Angeles, jumping out to a 6-0 lead and holding the lead heading into the fourth quarter. However, the Jets ran out of gas (again) and fell to 4-11.
Adams had a solid game individually, including making a nice touchdown grab, but the wideout left Las Vegas to win and hasn’t done much of that with his new team. That’s good news for the Raiders, who own the Jets’ third-round pick as a result of the trade, and the selection will be toward the top of the round.

Josh Jacobs
- Stats: 13 carries, 68 rushing yards, 1 TD, 4 catches, 38 yards
- Game result: 34-0, Packers lose
Jacobs and the Packers dominated the Carr-less Saints, recording the first shutout of the season and clinching a postseason berth. The running back continued his streak of six straight games with a touchdown and didn’t even play in the fourth quarter as the Packers pulled their starters. He’s four yards away from logging the second-most rushing yards of his career and has already set a personal best in total touchdowns, heading into the second playoff appearance of his career.

Amik Robertson
- Stats: 8 total tackles, 1 TFL, 2 PD
- Game result: 34-17, Lions win
While it’s not necessarily a good sign when a cornerback finishes second on the team in tackles, Robertson was certainly active in the Detroit Lions’ dominant win on Sunday. He and Detroit are in control of their own destiny to be the one-seed in the NFC as wins in San Francisco and at home against Minnesota will get the job done.
