Tee Higgins was able to return and Amarius Mims said he was fine following the game, but it is worth monitoring.
The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for a must-win game against the Denver Broncos on Saturday. It looks like the Bengals are going to play the waiting game with several big names who have either popped up or been on the injury report the last few weeks.
The two biggest additions that some fans have been waiting for are wide receiver Tee Higgins (Ankle/Knee) and offensive tackle Amarius Mims (Ankle/Hand) both were limited after having positive updates either during or following Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns when they left the game due to injury at some point.
Higgins ultimately returned and finished the game while Mims attempted to return, but he didn’t end up finishing the game. Mims’ availability will be huge as the offensive line has been struggling to protect quarterback Joe Burrow (also limited with wrist/knee) through a full game.
Orlando Brown Jr. was also limited with his fibula injury. He had the same designation leading into the game last week and ultimately ended up missing the game leading to Cody Ford starting at left tackle.
Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins did not participate with his illness after not practicing all of last week. Rookie defensive tackle Kris Jenkins had two sacks last week in his absence.
The best news of the week for the Broncos is them opening the 21-day practice window for running back Tyler Badie who suffered a back injury in Week 4. Great news for that young man. He may not play this week, but good news for the individual none-the-less.
Otherwise, the only other player they currently had even limited in practice was running back Jaleel Mclaughlin (quad).
