Los Angeles Chargers 34, Denver Broncos 27
Broncos CB Kris Abrams-Draine
The fifth-round draft pick impressed for the second straight week, earning a 75.8 PFF coverage grade in the Broncos’ loss to the Chargers on Thursday Night Football. From 35 coverage snaps, he allowed three receptions for 49 yards on six targets and came away with an interception.
Kansas City Chiefs 27, Houston Texans 19
Chiefs DI Chris Jones
Jones starred again as the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans on Saturday afternoon, moving one step closer to locking up the AFC’s No. 1 seed. From 35 pass-rushing snaps, he racked up eight pressures, three of which were quarterback hits.
Ravens S Kyle Hamilton
The star safety had another stellar performance in the Ravens’ secondary as they took down the Steelers at home on Saturday afternoon. He finished the game with three tackles resulting in a defensive stop, a pass breakup, a forced fumble and a 90.0 PFF overall grade.
Bengals QB Joe Burrow
The Bengals’ slim playoff hopes are still alive, and their quarterback enjoyed another impressive performance. Burrow earned a 74.2 PFF passing grade, going 23-of-30 for 252 yards with three touchdowns and three big-time throws.
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels
The rookie quarterback led the Commanders to another comeback win on Sunday, keeping intact their slim hopes of winning the NFC East. Daniels went 24-of-39 passing with 258 yards, five touchdowns, two interceptions, three big-time throws and two turnover-worthy plays. He didn’t find the end zone as a runner but did force six missed tackles on nine carries.
Rams RB Kyren Williams
Williams was the key in the Rams’ win over the Jets as they took a one-game lead in the NFC West. He earned an 84.1 PFF rushing grade. Eighty-two of his 122 rushing yards came after contact and he forced a pair of missed tackles.
Colts RB Jonathan Taylor
The star running back handled 29 carries as the Colts held off the Titans to keep their playoff hopes alive, finishing with 218 rushing yards. He earned a 77.0 PFF rushing grade, having forced six missed tackles and producing 99 of his rushing yards after contact.
Lions WR Jameson Williams
The speedy receiver was Jared Goff’s top target in the Lions’ over the Bears, turning six targets into 143 yards and a touchdown. Across 31 receiving snaps, he finished the game with an average of 4.61 yards per route run.
Panthers QB Bryce Young
Young looked very good despite the Panthers‘ low-volume passing attack in Week 16. He went 17-of-26 for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns, finishing the game with four big-time throws, no turnover-worthy plays and a 91.7 PFF overall grade.
Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr.
Penix was impressive in his NFL first start, going 18-of-27 for 202 yards and a 77.7 PFF passing grade. He did throw an interception, but it wasn’t his fault, with tight end Kyle Pitts‘ failure to secure the ball leading to the turnover.
Bills EDGE Von Miller
Miller rolled back the years with an impressive performance off the edge for the Bills’ defense in their win over the Patriots. From 23 pass-rushing snaps, he tallied a hit, five hurries and a 35.0% pass-rush win rate thanks to several pass-rushing wins that didn’t result in pressure.
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane
The second-year running back had one of his best games of the season, totaling 190 scrimmage yards. Achane averaged 2.69 yards per route run as a receiver, and his long touchdown run at the end of the game pushed him over the 100-yard mark.
Raiders DI John Jenkins
On the field for 22 snaps in Sunday’s win over the Jaguars, Jenkins impressed both as a pass-rusher and against the run. He recorded a quarterback hit from just eight pass-rushing snaps and earned a 67.8 PFF run-defense grade.
Vikings EDGE Andrew Van Ginkel
Van Ginkel continued his impressive first season with the Vikings in the team’s win over the Seahawks, helping them keep pace with the Detroit Lions in the NFC North. He racked up seven pressures, two of which were sacks, across 32 pass-rushing snaps.
Cowboys CB Jourdan Lewis
Lewis was the best player on an impressive night for the Dallas secondary. He recorded a tackle resulting in a defensive stop, forced an incompletion and made an incredible interception where he ripped the ball away from Buccaneers receiver Jalen McMillan in the end zone. He also added a tackle resulting in a defensive stop against the run, ending the game with a 72.7 PFF overall grade.
