Injuries are building on offense but two pass rushers are inching closer to returning.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is unlikely to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. He played 26 snaps last week against the Houston Texans before leaving with a knee injury.
Waddle and fellow wide receiver Dee Eskridge (knee) are listed as doubtful on the final injury report after not practicing this week. Starting left tackle Terron Armstead was limited Friday — his first time on the practice field since Week 10.
Neither Armstead nor right tackle Kendall Lamm (back) played last week but are both questionable to play against the 49ers. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been limited throughout the week with a wrist injury. He was limited during Friday’s practice.
Linebackers Cameron Goode and Bradley Chubb are questionable after practicing throughout the week. Goode fully practiced throughout the week while Chubb was limited. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was limited Wednesday and Thursday because of a hip injury but was fully available Friday and is good for Sunday.
Fourth-year running back Patrick Taylor will be the lead man for San Francisco against Miami with Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason on injured reserve and Isaas Guerendo out due to foot and hamstring injuries. He’s averaged 3.9 yards on 79 carries throughout 44 games with the 49ers and Green Bay Packers. Left tackle Trent Williams will miss his fifth game because of an ankle injury and is likely done for the year.
Defensive end Nick Bosa (hip/oblique), linebacker Dre Greenlaw (Achilles/knee), and defensive end Robert Beal Jr. were limited in Friday’s practice and are questionable for the San Franciso defense.
