Week 15 winds up this evening with another of the NFLs Monday Night Football doubleheaders. The First of the two games to kick off this evening features the Chicago Bears at the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears are 4 and 9, hold last place in the NFC North and have lost their last seven games in a row, including last weeks game against the San Francisco 49ers, 38 to 13. The Vikings are in a much better position with their 11 and 2 record, good enough for second in the NFC North. The Vikings have won their last six game, including last weeks game against the Atlanta Falcons, 42 to 21.

The second of the two games this evening features the Atlanta Falcons at the Las Vegas Raiders. Atlanta comes into the week with a 6 and 7 record, giving them the second place spot in the NFC South. Atlanta has lost their last for games in a row before this evening, including the aforementioned loss at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings. Las Vegas enters week 15 with a woeful 2 and 11 record, giving them last place in the AFC West. Not to be outdone by the Bears dropping seven in a row the Raiders have now lost nine games in a row including last weeks loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 28 to 13.

Please use this thread to follow this evening’s Monday Night Football game between the Bears and the Vikings or the Falcons and the Raiders and, as always, your Miami Dolphins. Chicago Bears (4-9) 4th NFC North @ Minnesota Vikings (11-2) 2nd NFC North

  • Kickoff: 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday, December 16th
  • Location: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • TV Broadcast: ABC
  • FANDUEL Sportsbook betting Odds: Vikings -7; Point total: 43.5; Moneyline: Vikings -320 | Bears +250

—My Pick: The Vikings to cover. Depite the line being a full touchdown margin the Bears are playing really bad football right now. Chicago is coming off a blowout, 25 point, loss at the hands of a 49ers team that is a shell of themselves over the last few years. This current version of the Vikings is a much better team than the San Fran team that dispatched the Bears this past weekend. I expect this game to be over by the middle of the third quarter.

Atlanta Falcons (6-7) 2nd NFC South @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) 4th AFC West

  • Kickoff: 8:30 p.m. EST, Monday, December 16th
  • Location: Allegiant Stadium, Paradise, Arizona
  • TV Broadcast: ESPN
  • FANDUEL Sportsbook betting Odds: Falcons -5.5; Point total: 44.5; Moneyline: Falcons -270 | Raiders +220

—My Pick: The Falcons to cover. Much like the Bears the Raiders are just not a good team this season. The Raiders will continue their ugly losing streak this evening taking the number to an even ten. While the Falcons have been a very up and down team this year, even getting blown out two weeks ago to the surging Denver Broncos, they are still much more of an all around competent team and should have no issue dispatching the Raiders this evening and winning by at least a touchdown.
