If only they could play Will Levis every week.
The Cincinnati Bengals (6-8) have won two in a row to stay in playoff contention for the time being.
It wasn’t pretty, with a staggering 10 combined turnovers and 26 combined penalties, but Bengals fans will take it.
So what did we learn from their 37-27 win over the Tennessee Titans (3-11)?
The defense still has pride
A rejuvenated Cam Taylor-Britt has responded with feistiness since getting benched. Geno Stone is swarming toward the ball for interceptions. And the secondary has generally been in better position to make big plays the last couple of weeks.
One of my favorite moments today:
Geno Stone.
He seems to finally be getting comfortable flying around and making plays.

Yes, these were games against Will Levis and Cooper Rush, but there’s been a noticeable difference in the defense’s, specifically the secondary’s, energy and body language recently.
Stone gave us an idea why, saying that he’s adjusting to the defense and “The past two weeks, I feel like we just kind of made it simple for us to go play fast.” That’s a great sign for the future.
Chase Brown can be a workhorse
We’ve seen glimpses of his ability the last three months, but Brown really cemented his place as the lead back of the future for the Bengals on the road against a tough Titans defensive line with 25 carries and a hard-earned 97 yards on the ground.

Sam Hubbard can catch
Sure he played safety at Moeller High School, but who knew Hubbard could extend his body and get his hands under the ball in time to secure a tough catch with a linebacker swatting at the ball?

Unfortunately, the veteran injured his right knee on the catch. We hope he make a quick recovery.
