The Ravens (9-5) are back in the winners’ column after a dominant 35-14 win over the Giants (2-12) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Baltimore was heavily penalized in the first half but pulled away in the second half after Lamar Jackson put on a dazzling passing performance.

Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers, and Mark Andrews shined, while Derrick Henry had a solid performance against a battered Giants team limping towards a potential No. 1 or 2 pick in April’s NFL draft.

With the game complete, here’s an instant analysis of the impressive win.

Nate Wiggins-Malik Nabers

East Rutherford, NJ — December 15, 2024 — Malik Nabers of the Giants in the first half. The Baltimore Ravens came to MetLife Stadium to play the New York Giants.

Nabers had ten catches for 82 yards (8.2 avg) and one touchdown, doing most of his damage opposite Ravens rookie Nate Wiggins. Wiggins finished the afternoon with four tackles and one pass breakup.

Lamar Jackson five TD passes

East Rutherford, NJ — December 15, 2024 — Lamar Jackson of the Ravens and Greg Stroman Jr. of the Giants in the first half. The Baltimore Ravens came to MetLife Stadium to play the New York Giants.

In his first game since a Week 13 loss to the Eagles, Jackson was 21-25 passing for 290 yards, five touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and a 154.6 quarterback rating.

Even more impressive, Jackson had more touchdown passes (5) than incompletions (4) on the afternoon.  Looking to take his mother’s advice, Jackson six times for 65 yards (10.8 avg) in the afternoon, as Baltimore moved to 9-5 in the season and set up a gigantic Week 16 matchup at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Giants (2-12) are winless in eight games at MetLife Stadium, putting more pressure on coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen with just three games remaining. The defeat sent the Giants and co-owner John Mara to a franchise-record-tying ninth straight loss.

Todd Monken

East Rutherford, NJ — December 15, 2024 — Lamar Jackson of the Ravens and Greg Stroman Jr. of the Giants in the first half. The Baltimore Ravens came to MetLife Stadium to play the New York Giants.

Sunday was labeled a get-right game for Baltimore, and The Ravens’ top-ranked offense gained 445 yards, and Monken’s unit was 9-12 on third down attempts.
