
More questions at the quarterback position
New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito has been ruled out with a concussion.
New third-string quarterback Tim Boyle took the field following the Baltimore Ravens touchdown to stretch their lead to 21-7, sparking speculation regarding DeVito’s status.
It was soon confirmed by the team that the second-year quarterback was brought into the blue medical tent to be evaluated for a concussion following the Giants’ 8-minute, 13-play touchdown drive.

We don’t know precisely when the the concerning play occurred, though DeVito did take a hard hit from Ravens’ defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike. That play drew a roughing the passer penalty when Madubuike failed to prevent his full weight from landing on DeVito.
The Giants just signed Boyle to their active roster on Saturday.
Drew Lock, who started the previous two games, is the Giants’ emergency third quarterback. He’s dealing with heel and elbow injuries and has been in a walking boot this week.
The Giants will get the ball to start the second half.
