Hey, Madden finally got one right!

Last week, Madden 25 predicted the Detroit Lions to win a narrow game against the Green Bay Packers, and lo and behold, they did! It was the first time Madden has correctly predicted a Lions outcome in nearly two months.

Here’s a look at how our Madden simulations have gone compared to the actual game results.

Maybe this is finally the turn Madden needed to finally get this team right, right?

Actually, I think we all know what’s coming this week. Madden is going to be all over Josh Allen—their cover athlete in last year’s version of the game—and he’s probably going to tear apart the Lions defense.

But just in case that isn’t a foregone conclusion, you can join our live Madden 25 simulation on Saturday morning. There I will answer your Lions questions, provide live commentary for the game, and probably get up to some other shenanigans. It’s a neat way to spend your Saturday morning, particularly because the weather is very cold and there’s no college football on for a while.
