How to watch the Bengals try to keep their postseason hopes alive against the Titans.
The Cincinnati Bengals will be paying a visit to Tennessee to play the Titans, but this time around, they will see plenty of familiar faces when they get there.
For those who may be too young to remember, the Titans and Bengals used to be in the same division before the realignment created the AFC North we know and hate. Back in the old AFC Central, the Houston Oilers/Titans were also part of the division.
Now we get a similar sense of familiarity again with Brian Callahan as the head coach for the Titans, the Bengals’ former offensive coordinator since Zac Taylor arrived in Cincinnati. We will also get to see familiar veteran players like wide receiver Tyler Boyd and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie. All of these names were huge parts of the deep runs the Bengals recently had.
Cincinnati isn’t coming in as a top dog in the AFC this year. The defense fell off hard, likely costing the team a chance at the postseason. The Bengals need to win their final four games and get a lot of help to make the playoffs.
At the very least, we can watch Joe Burrow go crazy and maybe go for over 300 yards and three touchdowns again for the fifth game in a row as he continues an MVP campaign that will get shot down due to the Bengals’ standings. Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is also still on pace to lead the league in catches, yards, and receiving touchdowns in a contract year.
The Titans have been one of the worst teams in the NFL, and most of that goes to quarterback Will Levis not taking a step forward from his rookie campaign. The roster is also quite young and in a clear rebuild despite some flashy signings like running back Tony Pollard.
Here’s how to watch Bengals vs. Titans.
