Down a a big one in the trenches.
Friday’s injury report brought us updates on the game status for some Cincinnati Bengals as they travel to take on the Tennessee Titans.
Joe Burrow (right wrist/knee) was a full participant for the first time this week, so he is good to go for Sunday. Head Coach Zac Taylor also added that Burrow’s knee soreness shouldn’t impact the team’s game plan.
Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (fibula) is out after not practicing all week. Brown has been dealing with the injury since October, and it clearly needs more time to heal. Cody Ford will get the start at left tackle.
Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (illness) will be out again. Rankins has been sidelined for nearly a month.
Linebacker Joe Bachie (groin) is also out Sunday. Akeem Davis-Gaither has started in place of Logan Wilson, who is on season-ending injured reserve. Bachie’s absence should lead to Maema Njongmeta seeing an increased workload.
Charlie Jones (groin) is questionable, but all other Bengals have no game status and should be good to go.
For the Titans, running back Tony Pollard (ankle), linebacker Otis Reese (ankle), offensive tackle Jaylen Duncan (hamstring), and cornerback Roger McCRearey (shoulder) are listed as questionable.
Everyone else is good to go, including former Bengals Tyler Boyd and Chidobe Awuzie.
