Indianapolis Colts Injury Report: C Kelly and LB Carlies Return To Practice

The Indianapolis Colts released their Wednesday practice report.

The Indianapolis Colts today released their Wednesday injury report for Week 15 of the NFL season ahead of their Sunday game against the Denver Broncos.

Wide receiver Ashton Dulin missed practice today with an ankle injury. Dulin missed practice all week before the bye week and the Colts last game due to the ankle injury. Dulin still struggling with the ankle injury doesn’t bode well for his availability this week.

Right tackle Braden Smith missed practice today due to a personal matter. Smith missed the Colts week 13 game due to the same reason. Coach Shane Steichen today told the media today that Smith is unlikely to feature this week and may not return this season.

Wide receiver Josh Downs was limited at practice today due to a shoulder injury. Downs missed the week 13 game with a shoulder injury which appears to be still bothering him but a limited practice does show signs of improvement. Downs will be one to keep and eye on this week.

Center Ryan Kelly was limited at practice today with a knee injury. The Colts announced today that they had opened the 21 day practice window for Kelly to return from injured reserve. Kelly was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury and has missed four games while on injured reserve. Kelly is a valuable piece of the Colts offensive line and a veteran voice for young Quarterback Anthony Richardson.

Linebacker Jaylon Carlies was a full participant at practice today. The Colts announced today that they had opened the 21 day practice window for Carlies to return from injured reserve. Carlies was placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury and has missed six games while in injured reserve. Carlies is a valuable piece of the Colts defense and in limited time at the start of the year showed he was capable of taking on a big snap count. Carlies could play his way into a starting spot next year,
