The Bengals have struggled with bad luck all season, but they finally got a good turn of luck to get the win against the Cowboys.
The Cincinnati Bengals season in 2024 has been one nightmare after another, every single game ending with terrible luck and a loss.
Finally, against the Cowboys it flipped the other way when the Bengals recovered their own blocked punt. That lead to the drive that gave them the lead with under two minutes left, and the Cowboys just didn’t have time to mount a comeback.
While the Bengals are all but eliminated from the playoffs, this game can at least start to give them some momentum for 2025. There were also some signs of life, with more play coming from rookies and young players. It is key to figure out how well they can contribute down the stretch for next season.
In the end while losses are better for the Bengals draft position, getting wins is great for morale, it was very reassuring to see a smile on Joe Burrow’s face after a win again.
With that said, let’s check out what Twitter thought of the results of the game.

Taylor applauds not just Burrow’s physical presence: “Not just the physical toughness but the mental toughness in this game because what Zimmer does to you, as tough as it gets.”

While true, they put themselves in those situations. They did it again tonight on what should’ve been the final drive. They finally ran into a team who folded worse. https://t.co/D76xIFUgjn
