Jim Harbaugh has turned things around quickly for the Los Angeles Chargers, and they look set to head back to the playoffs this season.

Justin Herbert is having one of the best seasons of his young career, and things are looking up for the Chargers for the next few years.

Here’s how we would set them up for more success through the draft as things stand.

Round 1 (21): TE Tyler Warren, Penn State

Warren is having an incredible 2024 season and would be a fantastic addition as a red-zone target for Herbert in the Chargers’ passing game. He has earned a 93.3 PFF receiving grade so far this season, averaging 2.93 yards per route run and dropping just two of the 90 catchable passes thrown his way.

Round 2 (53): WR Xavier Restrepo, Miami

Adding another pass catcher for Herbert in the second round wouldn’t be a bad move either, and Restrepo has earned PFF receiving grades above 80.0 in each of the past two seasons. He has dropped just 4.3% of the catchable targets he has seen throughout his college career.

Round 3 (85): EDGE Quandarrius Robinson, Alabama

Robinson has flashed in a limited role in 2024, earning a 90.2 PFF pass-rush grade for Alabama this season. He has racked up 19 total pressures, nine of which have either been a sack or a quarterback hit, from 110 pass-rushing snaps.
