Giants’ Adoree’ Jackson mocks fan who ‘wasted money’ on plane banner | NJ.com
“Shoot, just give me that money that they wasted,” Jackson said with a laugh. “At 11:30 [a.m.], I don’t think anybody would’ve been on the field anyway. So save that money. And next time, tell them: Just give it to me. I’ll deliver the message — whatever they need. I can put a little extra money in my pocket.
“I don’t think nothing of it. Obviously, everybody has their own opinions, their own their reactions. And they may go to extreme lengths. But I don’t think it fazes us in general. We understand the situation that we’re in obviously. We hate that we’re in it. It’s not like we go out here and want to lose. This is just how the Lord intended it to be for us. That’s the true test of a man — who you are coming out of adversity.”
Malik Nabers at loss for why the team has lost eight straight

NY Giants: Re-living the wrong kind of franchise history is not fun | The Record
Three weeks after the Miracle of the Meadowlands, the infamous Joe Pisarcik fumble, a group of about 95 fans calling them “the Giants Fans Committee” gathered inside a banquet room at the Ramada Inn in Clifton, New Jersey.
There, the committee also took up a collection to pay for a small plane that carried a banner over the old Giants Stadium at the game later that day. The message, in the third quarter of an eventual win over the St. Louis Cardinals, read: “15 Years of Lousy Football … We’ve Had Enough.”
John Mara owes Giants fans an apology — or even a refund — for this embarrassing team | Politi – nj.com
From near-empty parking lots, the banner trailing the Cessna 150J propeller plane that flew over MetLife Stadium on Sunday morning felt almost like a thought bubble over the Giants fans’ heads — with one huge difference. The message was far too polite to summarize what these fans were thinking given the current state of this franchise.
“MR MARA ENOUGH — PLZ FIX THIS DUMPSTER FIRE” the banner read, and like most paying customers at the team’s latest loss, Tom Holden was well past the plz part of that sentiment. His family has had season tickets for this franchise for more than a half century, long before it moved from Yankee Stadium to New Jersey in the mid-70s.
NFL Week 14: Biggest questions, takeaways for every game | ESPN.com
How does the latest loss affect coach Brian Daboll’s future? This was the Giants’ eighth straight loss, and it seems they’re finding new ways to lose, after their game-tying field goal attempt was blocked in the final seconds. This all reflects poorly on Daboll. As if it wasn’t enough, a plane flew over MetLife Stadium prior to the game with a banner directed at Giants owner John Mara that read: “MR MARA ENOUGH — PLZ FIX THIS DUMPSTER FIRE.” The optics of this and a half-empty stadium aren’t good for Daboll and this regime. Sure, the Giants are extremely short-handed, but this type of embarrassment is what generally irks Mara.
Coach Brian Daboll answering questions about his job status
Brian Daboll was asked what his argument would be for staying the course with the Giants:
“I’m disappointed we have two wins. We’re just gonna keep on grinding it out and try to keep developing these young players and get ready to play a great team next week.” pic.twitter.com/gkVbrPymzP

In race for No. 1 NFL Draft pick, two teams emerge as favorites in Week 14 | The Athletic
Jacksonville’s win Sunday makes the battle for first overall a two-team race between the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders. The New York Giants have a 39% chance of picking No. 1 overall in the draft while The Las Vegas Raiders have a 35% chance.
Why Giants’ nightmarish mistakes in 2024 might just save their future | NJ.com
But with 11 losses already in hand — and the No. 1 pick well within reach — it’s time for Mara to pick a direction: Either send Schoen and Daboll packing, or reassure them that they’re safe so they can finish the tank/secure the lottery ticket for the quarterback of the future.
Consider this, if you’re not convinced: Would you rather pull a 2023 Giants, steal a few meaningless games down the stretch and miss out on the top names in the draft? Or does having the clear path to the No. 1 pick — which would give you the right to draft Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders or Miami’s Cam Ward — sound more enticing?
Drew Lock: Daboll has not lost the locker room
Drew Lock was asked if the Giants’ players still believe the message coming from the coaching staff:
“The messages are all true, there’s no trying to pull the wool over our eyes in there. Everything that’s coming out of Dabes’ mouth is true.” pic.twitter.com/FbYDbQBViV

Instant Analysis: Giants fall to Saints, 14-11 | Giants.com
Running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. found the end zone for the second consecutive game and fifth time of his rookie season. The fifth-round pick punched in a one-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. It was set up by a 22-yard reception by Nabers, who also caught a tipped pass in the end zone on the ensuing two-point conversion to cut the deficit to three points with four minutes left in the game.
Giants’ Jalin Hyatt opens up about rough second season: ‘Felt like I wasn’t ready’ | New York Post
“What I’ve shown so far on tape this year is [that] most of my catches this year aren’t deep,” Hyatt said. “Last year, they were all deep. This year, they are more short — the slants or the deep route, in-breaking, out-breaking. Not just go balls. Not just posts. Just showing I can be diverse in my route running. Just trying to get better at that spot. I know I didn’t get a lot of snaps I would’ve wished of having, but I’m going to continue to keep getting better when that chance comes.”

2025 NFL Free Agency: Top Landing Spots for Vikings QB Sam Darnold | The 33rd Team
New York Giants. A new GM would likely want to take a swing on a rookie quarterback, especially if the Giants can secure a top-three pick. However, this quarterback class isn’t as strong as in previous seasons, and a player like Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders may not be considered great value that early, depending on the GM.
A more conservative GM might be willing to sign a veteran like Darnold as a win-win situation. If Darnold thrives, the Giants can build out the roster at other positions. If it goes poorly, the Giants can tank for a quarterback in next year’s draft, where they could take Eli Manning’s nephew in Texas Longhorns QB Arch Manning.

Ravens remain high on current offensive line configuration; don’t plan on making changes | Baltimore Beatdown
The only two returners were center Tyler Linderbaum and left tackle Ronnie Stanley, who have anchored the offensive line this year. The unit weathered some rough growing pains before rounding into shape in eight of their 10 games following the team’s winless start.
However, over the past month, Baltimore’s O-line has struggled against some of the better defensive fronts in the league. They’ve committed penalties, failed to execute their blocking assignments, and flat-out lost at the point of attack. These recent developments have contributed to them losing two of their last three heading into the bye while dredging up some of the early doubts by fans and pundits.
