The latest news on who’s in and who’s out.

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their 2024 NFL Week 14 game against the Carolina Panthers.

The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Reed Blankenship, Sydney Brown, Britain Covey, Nick Gates, Darian Kinnard, Trevon Keegan, and Tanner McKee.

Blankenship, Brown, and Covey were all ruled out on Friday’s injury report.

Blankenship’s absence means Tristin McCollum is making his first NFL start. The depth behind McCollum and C.J. Gardner-Johnson at safety: Avonte Maddox and Andre’ Sam. Sam is making his regular season NFL debut after being temporarily elevated from the practice squad. He’s wearing No. 31 (after previously sporting No. 35 in the preseason).

Covey’s absence means the Eagles have five active wide receivers: A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, and Ainias Smith. It also means the Eagles might use Cooper DeJean at punt returner again.

With Dallas Goedert placed on injured reserve, the Eagles have three active tight ends: Grant Calcaterra, C.J. Uzomah, and E.J. Jenkins. Jenkins is active for the fourth time this season and the first time since Week 9.

Gates, Kinnard, and Keegan are all healthy scratches for the fourth straight game. The rookie Keegan has yet to be active for a single game this season. Kinnard’s played in one game while Gates has made eight appearances.

Under the NFL’s third quarterback rule, McKee is only allowed to play if both Jalen Hurts AND Kenny Pickett leave the game due to injury.

Fullback Khari Blasingame will be making his Eagles debut after recently signing to the practice squad. He’s wearing No. 48.

Eli Ricks is active as a depth cornerback for just the fifth time this season. He’s played zero defensive snaps and 26 special teams snaps thus far.
