How can you follow the action?
It’s game day, folks! That means we’re just hours away from the Kirk Cousins Revenge Game™ kicking off at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Atlanta Falcons and our Minnesota Vikings. We want everyone to be able to be able to follow along with this one, so we’re putting all of the information you need in one place as we do each week.
Television Info
This one will kick off at the single-best time for NFL football action to kick off, that being noon Central time on Sunday. It will be carried on the FOX family of networks, including KMSP-9 in the Twin Cities, and for the second straight week we will have Joe Davis and Greg Olsen on the call. If you want to know whether or not you’re in the local broadcast area, below is the map from the folks at 506 Sports, with the Falcons/Vikings game represented by the red area.

If you are outside of the local broadcast area, you’ll have to look for the game on YouTube TV NFL Sunday Ticket.
For our men and women serving in uniform overseas, the American Forces Network will be showing this one LIVE on AFN Sports. Kickoff is slated for 1800Z, which translates to 1900L for viewers in Central Europe, 2100L for everyone on Arabian Time, and 0300L on Monday morning for fans in Japan and Korea.
Radio Info
If you have a Vikings Radio Network affiliate in your area, most of them will probably be carrying the game. We’ve provided you with the full list of affiliates for this season, so use our page to find the affiliate nearest to you.
Those of you who will use satellite radio to listen to this one can find the feed from the Vikings Radio Network on SiriusXM Channel 229. You can listen to the Falcons’ feed on Channel 384 if you feel so compelled. If you use the SiriusXM app, the Vikings’ permanent home is on Channel 820.
Referee Info
According to the gang over at Football Zebras, this week’s officiating crew will be headed up by Alex Kemp. This will be the second time this season the Vikings have seen Kemp’s crew and they’ll be hoping for a similar result, as that crew handled the Vikings’ 28-6 victory over the New York Giants in this year’s regular season opener.
Weather Info
This game will not be affected by the elements as it’s being played indoors. If you’re traveling to the game or planning on partaking in any pre-game festivities, be sure to stay warm. According to our friends at WeatherNation, temperatures leading up to kickoff will be right around freezing with some light snow showers transitioning to rain over the course of the morning and winds out of the southeast a 5-10 miles/hour.
Betting Info
The betting line for this one has changed a little bit, as the folks from FanDuel now have the Vikings sitting as a 5.5-point favorite. The line started at Vikings -4.5. The over/under for this one still rests at 46.5 points.
Streaming Info
If your local affiliate is not carrying the game, remember that the Sunday Ticket package now rests with YouTube TV. If you’re in the local area and have cut the cord, you should be able to find it on a service such as Fubo TV or Sling TV.
I’ll say the same thing about illegal streams that I always say: don’t. Or damn sure don’t go advertising them here. You’ll be banned and that will be the end of it.
Post-Game Info
As is usually the case, we will be back with a LIVE post-game show after this one from Vikings Report with Drew and Ted. We’ll have a separate post for the game, or you can head over to the Vikings Report YouTube page and catch the show there.
That should be all of the information you need to be ready for this afternoon’s big game between the Vikings and the Falcons. As we usually do, we’ll have our first discussion thread of the afternoon popping up approximately 30 minutes before kickoff, so we hope that you’ll be joining us for it.
