Left tackle Terron Armstead was held out of practice this week because of a lingering knee injury.
Starting cornerback Kendall Fuller, who hasn’t played since Nov. 11 due to a concussion, has no injury designation and is expected to return Sunday when the Miami Dolphins face the New York Jets. Fuller, who suffered a concussion against the Los Angeles Rams, practiced fully on Thursday and Friday.
The Dolphins began the week with 15 players on the injury report, with seven entering the weekend as questionable for Sunday’s AFC East showdown.
Left Tackle Terron Armstead hasn’t practiced this week, but that’s been a trend for Miami’s anchor in the trenches. He’s started 11 of 12 games this season and hasn’t practiced since Week 10 as he manages a knee injury.
Linebackers Bradley Chubb and Cameron Goode saw their practice windows open this week and practiced on a limited basis, but are unlikely to play this week.
“I think you don’t expect any of those guys to be able to play. However, you leave it open because again, you let the process play out with a third of that process left and then we’ll assess from there,” coach Mike McDaniel said.
Cornerback Kader Kohou (back) and running back Raheem Mostert (hip) were limited Wednesday through Friday and are questionable. Linebacker Anthony Walker missed last week’s game in Green Bay because of a hamstring injury and didn’t practice Wednesday, but is questionable after full participation Friday.
Fifth-year long snapper Blake Ferguson, who was placed on the non-football illness list on Oct. 19, practiced fully this week but is also questionable for Sunday.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill was held out of practice Wednesday and was practicing in full by Friday as he works through a wrist injury. He’ll be good to go against the Jets.
“I’ve been doing whatever I can to rest it, to recover it the best way I can,” Hill told reporters Friday. “The training staff here, those guys have been doing a great job of allowing me to take days whenever I need it to give me a break from catching, give me a break from blocking. So everything’s been great, man.”
For New York, running back Breece Hall (knee) and cornerback Sauce Gardner (hamstring) didn’t practice this week and are both doubtful. The team also placed linebacker C.J. Mosley on injured reserve due to a neck injury.
Five others are questionable for New York: Tackle Morgan Moses (knee/shoulder), guard Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle), tackle Olumuyiwa Fashanu (toe), defensive back Qwan’Tez Stiggers (illness), and guard Xavier Newman-Johnson (groin).
