Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season kicks off with the Green Bay Packers appearing for the second Thursday night in a row. The 9 and 3 Packers will travel this evening to take on the Detroit Lions. Of course, the Packers are coming off of their win this past Thanksgiving evening over our very own Miami Dolphins, 30 to 17. The Lions are also coming off a Thanksgiving day win over the Chicago Bears 23 to 20. The Lions have an 11-and-1 record and have won their last ten games.

-My Pick: The Lions will cover. The Packers are fresh off a victory at home on Thanksgiving over the Dolphins in a game in which they held the upper hand over Miami due to the frigid weather. Tonight’s game will take place in an away domed stadium against possibly the best team in the NFL. The Packers are a good and balanced team, but the Lions are better on both sides of the ball at this point of the season. The Lions should prevail this evening, taking their win streak to eleven games while covering the spread.
