Some updates to yesterday’s reports
The Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons released their injury reports for Thursday in advance of Sunday’s game. Here they are:
Atlanta Falcons
- CB Mike Hughes, Neck, Full Participant (FP)
- LB Troy Andersen, Knee, FP
- LB Nate Landman, Hamstring, LP
- DE Zach Harrison, Achilles, LP
- DT Ruke Orhorhoro, Ankle, LP
- WR Darnell Mooney, Achilles/NIR-rest, FP
- RB Jase McClellan, Knee, DNP
- G Chris Lindstrom, NIR- rest, LP
A few guys that had rest days dropped off the Falcons injury report, with one added- Lindstrom. But at this point it looks like backup RB Jase McClellan is the only Falcon that seems more doubtful for Sunday’s game.
Minnesota Vikings
- CB Stephon Gilmore, Hamstring, DNP
- S Jay Ward, elbow, LP
- DT Jonathan Bullard, Toe, FP
- LB Blake Cashman, Knee, FP
- OLB Patrick Jones II, Knee, LP
- OLB Andrew Van Ginkel, Thigh, LP
- LS Andrew DePaola, Hand, FP
- TE Josh Oliver, Wrist/Ankle, FP
- K Will Reichard, Quad, FP
- G Dalton Risner, Back, LP
There were a few upgrades for the Vikings today: Jay Ward practiced for the first time in a couple weeks and was limited, while Bullard and Cashman went from limited to full participants.
On the downside, Dalton Risner was added to the injury list as a limited participant with a back injury- presumably the same one that caused him to miss much of the season. Hopefully that’s not serious enough to keep him out on Sunday.
Otherwise, Stephon Gilmore remained out and seems unlikely to play on Sunday but everyone else is on track to play.
