Did the Raiders get the better deal?
It’s not often that quarterbacks and tight ends from the same draft class are connected.
But that is and will continue to be the case for Bo Nix and Brock Bowers.
That, of course is because they were taken one pick apart and the play in the same division.
Of course, Nix was selected by the Denver Broncos at No. 12 in the April draft and Bowers was taken by the Las Vegas Raiders on the next pick at No. 13.
Both players are having excellent rookie seasons and are among the favorites to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
Interestingly, many draft followers thought Denver might have taken Bowers and then Nix could have went to the Raiders.
Are you happy the way it went down?
Bowers is on pace to break all kinds of NFL records this year and he appears to be a special player with endless potential. But, of course, the Raiders are still searching for their quarterback of the future with no guarantees of it being solved next year.
Had they Raiders been able to draft Nix, they would have the most important position covered.
So, a case can be made for both sides for both the Raiders and the Broncos. How do you see it?
