Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 12/2/24
At halftime of Sunday’s game the score was in the New Orleans Saints favor as they led 6-0. It was the first time in the Sean McVay era that his team didn’t score in the first half of a regular season game (they had been shut-out in the first half of postseason game though). Regardless it was a first and speaks to some the consistency that McVay has had since joining the Rams.
As you may know, it was a tale of two halves for the Rams as they were able to score 21 points between quarters three and four to seal the win.
Happy victory Monday Rams fans! Please comment on whatever you’d like and have a great day!
Rams score three TDs in second half to defeat Saints 21-14 (nbcsports)
“The Rams were shut out in the first half of a regular-season game for the first time under Sean McVay on Sunday.
But the offense got humming in the second half, with Los Angeles coming back to defeat New Orleans 21-14 on Sunday.
The Rams had scored touchdowns on there of their first four possessions in the second half, beginning with a 4-yard touchdown by Kyren Williams to give L.A. a 7-6 lead.
Then Demarcus Robinson caught a 3-yard touchdown from Matthew Stafford at the beginning of the fourth quarter to put Los Angeles ahead 14-6.”
#Saints do-it-all TE Taysom Hill, who was carted off today, is feared to have suffered a season-ending knee injury, sources say.
No final diagnosis yet, as he’ll have an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. But feared to be significant. A tough blow. pic.twitter.com/4vNFFVE6dw

“Plenty of things went wrong for the Los Angeles Rams against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. They started the game 0-for-2 on third down, had just 4 total yards in the first quarter, failed on fourth down and were gashed on the ground by Alvin Kamara.
Despite all that, they still found a way to win, coming back to beat the Saints, 21-14. They scored 14 straight points to take a 14-6 lead in the second half before adding the go-ahead score with 8:54 left, a 7-yard touchdown catch by Puka Nacua to cap off a 56-yard drive.”
Rams Starter on Chopping Block After Being Ignored in Week 13 (lasportshub)
“One Rams starter is likely to lose his job in the coming weeks, especially considering one major return from injury that’s probable over the next couple of games.
TE Davis Allen hasn’t been targeted in three consecutive weeks. While never thought of as a reliable option in the passing game, Allen still has the most snaps at the position since Week 6. That said, his lack of attention likely means Tyler Higbee will take the starting role once again once he returns from injury.”
