On our latest podcast episode, we discuss Aaron Glenn’s masterclass in coaching up Detroit Lions’ depth and the Bears’ ineptitude.
Detroit Lions fans have watched this team lose in some truly backbreaking ways, some insane ways and all sort of things that defy reality. And yet, what the Chicago Bears pulled off on Thanksgiving beggars even that belief. With time expiring, they just forgot about the space-time continuum, let the game end with a whimper, and fired a coach midseason for the first time in their history. That’s bad bad, that’s not even a bad the old Lions could do. And while the game threatened to go against Detroit throughout the second half, this team can’t be put down that easily.
On this episode of the Pride of Detroit PODcast, it’s time to laugh and make merry. The Lions win, the Bears lose, and we discuss just how that all happened. That all said and jokes aside, there was a lot of things to discuss from the Detroit angle of this game—most of all that Aaron Glenn is deep in his jar getting production out of practice squad defensive players. The Lions will need to keep doing that as they head down the winter stretch, hoping to make it to January and new health there. Plus, we dissect more individual performances and talk some Jameson Williams while we can.
