First update on injured players ahead of the Sunday matchup
The Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals have issued their first injury reports of the week in advance of their Sunday game. Here they are:
Minnesota Vikings
Josh Oliver continues to miss practice with the ankle injury. Haven’t had much clarity on that so far, but he’ll need to practice this week if he’s likely to play on Sunday.
Jay Ward suffered his elbow injury last weekend against the Bears, but not much clarity on the extent of that injury so far either.
The rest of the guys on the list being limited would seem like these are more minor injuries they’ll work through and play on Sunday.
Arizona Cardinals
- OL Kelvin Beachum (NIR-Rest) – DNP
- S Jalen Thompson (Ankle) – Limited
- RB Emari Demercado (Back) – Limited
- DL Darius Robinson (Calf) – Limited
- OL Jonah Williams (Shoulder) – Limited
It looks like the Cardinals don’t have much for injuries for this game. Like the Vikings, the limited guys are likely to play through the injury and play on Sunday.
We see how things develop the rest of the week.
