There is a clear favorite fans want
There are still six games remaining for the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2024 season, yet, the focus is squarely on the 2025 season.
Specifically, the focus is on who will be the franchise’s next quarterback. The Raiders are expected to try to draft a quarterback next April.
We asked our readers last week what rookie quarterback they want the Raiders to draft. The choices were Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward, Jalen Milroe, Garrett Nussmeier, Quinn Ewers, Carson Beck, Drew Allar or someone else.
We had 1,382 votes cast in the poll. We had a clear winner — Sanders.
The Colorado quarterback received 42 percent of the votes. Ward was second in the voting at 33 percent and Milroe was third at 10 percent.
I’m not surprised at the results. Sanders is a hot name and he has potential. I would opt for Ward, at this point, because I just thin he ahs a higher ceiling and there’s less chances for a circus atmosphere.
But it’s early, so we’ll see how this all plays out.
