It has been quite a season for Bengals fans, as Cincinnati currently holds a shocking 4-7 record in 2024.
Joe Burrow is posting MVP numbers, Ja’Marr Chase leads the NFL in every statistical category, and Trey Hendrickson leads the league in sacks, but the team can’t seem to win games when they matter the most.
The team seems almost allergic to winning close games this season, and Zac Taylor has made it clear the late-game meltdowns are on the coaching staff.
But the cold fact is the Bengals are 4-7 and out of the playoff picture for the first time with a healthy Joe Burrow.
The Bengals have six games left this season and need to win to sneak back into the playoff race.
The final six opponents for Cincinnati are the Pittsburgh Steelers (twice), Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and Denver Broncos.
As a fan, do I believe the Bengals can win out? Yes, the team has done it before, and anything is possible with a healthy Joe Burrow leading the charge.
However, the team has shown the opposite this season, and it is unlikely that this team will find a way to win out.
