NFL Playoff Picture: Latest postseason odds for the Bengals and updated AFC standings

The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off their Week 12 bye and are set to take on the 8-3 Pittsburgh Steelers at home on Sunday. If they win, the Bengals can jumpstart a playoff push through the last half of the season. Technically, even winning the AFC North is still mathematically open to them. If they lose, though, they’d likely be too far removed from the playoffs to get there.

Note: The Baltimore Ravens have yet to complete Week 12 as they play on Monday night.

According to FanDuel’s Sportsbook, the Bengals’ odds to make the playoffs, whether it be as the division winner or as a wildcard team, is +420 heading into Week 15, meaning if you were to bet $100, you’d win $420. On the reverse side, their odds of missing the playoffs are -600, which means you’d have to leverage $600 just to win $100.

If you think that’s one-sided, their odds to win the AFC North are currently +7500, so you could make $7500 by risking $100, and their odds to win the Super Bowl are +8500.

If the Bengals are going to make a run, they’ll need to be perfect, or as close to perfect as they can get in the back half of the season. If you believe in miracles and you want to make some big money, why not roll the dice?
