A brotherly matchup on Monday Night Football.
Monday Night Football this week has a special connection. The Baltimore Ravens are coached by John Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers are coached by Jim Harbaugh.
This isn’t the biggest game they’ve coached against each other in. They once met in the Super Bowl when Jim was still with the San Francisco 49ers. John ended up on top then.
However, things are much different now. The Ravens have MVP candidate Lamar Jackson heading a pick-your-poison offense with Derrick Henry also in the backfield.
Jim also came off a national championship with Michigan last year. He has Justin Herbert playing well, but it really is this defense that has been getting them across the finish line in games.
It is that defense that can be the key as Baltimore’s offense hasn’t been able to handle elite edge players who are able to keep up with Jackson when he opts to keep it.
We will see how this one ends up, as both of these teams are trying to jockey for playoff position in the AFC.
