Our Miami Dolphins enter this week’s game against the New England Patriots off of back-to-back wins for the first time this season. Two weeks ago, they won away over the Los Angeles Rams, 23 to 15. The Phins returned home and secured another victory last week over the Las Vegas Raiders, 34 to 19. Since the return of starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa from IR, the Dolphins have also run a much different offense than last season, with the focus now seemingly on ball control over the previous offense driven by the big/homerun play.

Despite their 3 and 8 record, New England has played a bit more consistently lately. After beginning the season losing seven of their first eight games, the Patriots have won two of their last four games. It should be pointed out that those two wins are over possibly worse teams in the New York Jets and the Chicago Bears. The Patriots dropped their game last weekend against the Los Angeles Rams, 28 to 22.
