Who will be sitting out today?
We’re about ninety minutes away from kicking things off from Soldier Field between the Chicago Bears and your Minnesota Vikings. That means that both teams have put out their inactive lists for today’s contest, so it’s time to take a look at who will be sitting out of this one for both sides.
Minnesota Vikings
- OL Dan Feeney
- CB Dwight McGlothern
- TE Josh Oliver
- DL Levi Drake Rodriguez
- OL Walter Rouse
- QB Brett Rypien (emergency QB)
No surprises for the Vikings with Oliver having been declared out on the final injury report on Friday. He’ll be replaced by Nick Muse, who the Vikings activated yesterday to serve as the third tight end behind T.J. Hockenson and Johnny Mundt. Other than that it’s the usual suspects on the inactive list for the purple.
Chicago Bears
- OL Kiran Amegadjie
- OL Ryan Bates
- DB Elijah Hicks
- DL Dominique Robinson
- WR Tyler Scott
- LB Ameer Speed
No real surprises on the injury report for the Bears, either, as far as I can tell. Wide receiver Keenan Allen and running back D’Andre Swift, both of whom were listed as “questionable” for the Bears on their final injury report, are active for today’s contest.
Those are your inactive lists for this afternoon’s contest between the Vikings and the Bears, folks. We’ll have our first discussion thread of the afternoon popping up at 11:30 AM Central time, and we hope that you’ll join us for today’s game!
